Gîte “Rêver sous les étoiles” is a renovated baker's house.
It is a cozy and comfortable gîte for 2 people.
On the ground floor you will find a sitting area, a modern equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
The mezzanine houses the sleeping area with a double bed.
Find complete relaxation in your own wonderfully peaceful garden.
From the garden you have a beautiful view of the green surroundings.
You can enjoy the sun all day long or seek shade under the trees in the garden.
From the garden, you can see the Puy de Dôme and the Puy de Sancy on the horizon.
The gîte "Rêver sous les étoiles" is the bakery house of the farmhouse of yesteryear.
Blissful nature for beautiful walks and bike rides
The landscape is characterized by rolling, green hills covered with meadows bordered by hedges and trees.
The region, called “les Combrailles”, invites you to take wonderful walks or bike rides and explore the natural beauty and diversity of the area.
A paradise for nature and bird lovers.
All these birds have been spotted by our guests: ring ouzel, barn swallow, treecreeper, buzzard, magpie, willow warbler, yellowhammer, swift, willow tit, red-backed shrike, green woodpecker, great spotted woodpecker, hoopoe, wood pigeon, house sparrow, jackdaw, brambling, linnet, squacco heron, great tit, crow, blackbird, middle spotted woodpecker, purple heron, goldfinch, reed bunting, robin, sparrowhawk, starling, kestrel, turtle dove, chaffinch, eurasian jay, mallard, green sandpiper, white wagtail, great egret, black redstart, blackcap. Located in the green heart of France
Gîte "Rêver sous les étoiles" is located in the center of France - the Auvergne - in the small village of Tralaigues with about 80 inhabitants and its own “maire”.
Department of Puy-de-Dôme and bordering - about 5 km away - the department of Creuse.
Amanda and Geert are Flemish and speak Dutch, English and French.
Amanda is a teacher in both Kundalini yoga and Lu Jong, and also a holistic coach. She loves nature, peace and quiet.
Amanda takes care of the guests and the greenery of the domain.
Geert has a bachelor's degree in nursing, works in a residential and care center in Ghent and is a holistic coach. Thanks to his adapted schedule, he can very regularly come home and recharge on "his farm" in the countryside.
In September 2019, Amanda and Geert arrived at this place "by accident." The old farmhouse was completely renovated 15 years earlier by super nice people from Amsterdam.
In the village, we are known as “the Belgians up high”.

And yes, nature welcomes everyone, you can just be here.
This is why we offer our gîte, our vacation home / cottage here so gladly and also with enthusiasm.
Here you may also come home, surround yourself with the vibrations of nature and 'be' without more.
There are no musts, there is no rush, you experience here 'your vacation time' at your own rhythm and in your own way.
