Beautiful quiet environment. Wide view from the garden. Directly from the cottage you can make several beautiful varied walks; forest, farmlands, hills, villages, lakes, castles. There are good (walking) maps available in the cottage. With our own GPS and Amanda's tips, we enjoyed hours of walks every day. Along the way, the older farmers stop with their tractors to have a chat. Walking routes have been marked out from most villages. With the electric bicycle you can easily get your baguette at the bakery in the village of Montel. There is also a small local shop here. 10 km away is a large Autun supermarket, organic shop, bakery, pharmacy etc. in Pontamur. But you can also bake your own bread in the electric oven in the cottage. In addition, we also had beautiful weather.

It's as if you are the first user of this cottage, perfectly clean, everything beautiful, complete, comfortable and effective. Underfloor heating that we didn't need at all. Lovely seating areas with privacy around the cottage for every moment of the day, shade or sun or both. If you want to be car-free during your stay, you can. Groceries can be stored in the large fridge with freezer compartment and with the electric bicycle you can go to the bakery in Montel and possibly to the supermarket in Pontamur.
Geert and Amanda are modest, quiet people with lots of nice tips for outings but give you all the peace and space. The nature house is next to their own home. They may also want to prepare a meal for you for a reasonable fee.
In summary, we would have liked to stay longer than a week.

"We stayed for a week in Amanda and Geert's gite at the beginning of November. During this period the days are already short with harsh mornings. And in the evening it is dark, but really dark and quiet. Then it is wonderfully cozy in the gite, reading or rummaging in the well-equipped cooking area. And eventually you go to bed on time and you get out of bed on time. That made us go to the fullest for the day with trips (Clermont Fd, Puy De Dome), beautiful walks in the area (Landogne is a must!) or enjoying the birds in the garden. The peace and quiet in the middle of nature did us good. Thank you Amanda and Geert for your warm welcome and the nice conversations!"

Vous ne pensions pas trouver à ce point dans ce lieu idyllique, un océan de paix de calme et d'énergie positive.
Tous étaient amplement conforme dans la description ... rêver sous les étoiles.
Vous n'avons au cocci de nos voyages rarement trouvé un gîte aussie bien équipé, une lit aussi comfortabel ! Bref, juste parfait.
Ce fut également une belle rencontre avec nos hôtes Amanda et Geert l'enoie de partage et d'amour des belles personnes très lumineuses.

Everything was exactly as described... dreaming under the stars.
In all our travels, we have rarely found a Gîte that is so well-equipped, with such a comfortable bed! In short, just perfect.
It was also a wonderful meeting with our hosts, Amanda and Geert, a joy of sharing and love with beautiful, luminous people.
