It is peaceful to cycle here because there is not much traffic. Although there are no cycle paths like in Belgium or the Netherlands, you are safe here.
We recommend cycling from here to Biollet, Miremont or towards Creuse, among other places.

Electric bikes are recommended for most guests in this hilly landscape.

From Col de Guery to Orcival

Depart from the parking lot in Rochefort-Montagne.

Take the D80a towards Col de Guéry. This road is known as one of the most beautiful cycling routes in France. It is quiet cycling - little car traffic.

At the Col de Guéry you can make another trip in the direction of Mont Dore to the pleasant terrace at the Lac du Guéry.

After pleasantly enjoying the terrace, it's off in the direction of Orcival. From Col de Guéry to the basilica of Our Lady in Orcival, it's downhill all the time....

A final effort of about 5 km back to Rochefort-Montagne.
